          The Shikshan Shulka Samiti in its meeting held on Saturday, the 17th June 2006 decided on the fixation of interim fee for the Academic Year 2006-07 and passed the following resolutions:

          "It is resolved that by way of an interim arrangement, the increase in the fee structure of all institutes/ colleges, which come under the purview of the Shikshan Shulka Samiti, for the Academic Year 2006-07 is fixed over and above the fee structure decided by the Samiti for Academic Year 2005-2006. This has been fixed having regard to the increase in the cost incurred by the institutes/colleges every Academic Year. The interest of the students, which the Samiti finds to be paramount, has also been taken into account.

Those Institutes/Colleges which have submitted the proposed fee, less than the Interim fee so announced by the Shikshan Shulka Samiti, for the Academic Year 2006-07 will be charging the fees as proposed by the Institutes/Colleges."

"It is further resolved that the students as also the institutions concerned will offer an undertaking to each other to make good the increase or decrease in the fees ultimately to be fixed by the Samiti."

This resolution will be inapplicable to institutions whose fees have already been fixed by the Samiti for the academic year 2006-07.
